B2R is dedicated to helping people who have experienced trauma, substance use disorder, and struggle with mental wellness. We provide access to a network of collaborators to offer evidence-based diagnosis and treatment for substance use disorder and mental health, which will prevent incarceration and homelessness.

Our Team
Dr. Gregorie Constant-Peter
Gregorie Constant-Peter, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician of 20 years, deeply committed to providing compassionate care to all her patients. She recently received her board certification in Addiction Medicine. After completing her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Constant-Peter went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine at UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. Constant-Peter has always had a passion for caring for her patients and ensuring that they receive the best possible care. During her career, she has had the honor of caring for our community’s most vulnerable population and has found it rewarding. This population includes veterans, people experiencing homelessness, and the patients in our penal system.
To serve, prevent, and provide early intervention for the patients in her community, she founded a nonprofit organization, Bridge 2 Resilience (B2R), that focuses on providing a holistic approach to healing from childhood trauma, substance use disorder, and mental illness for all ages. Bridge 2 Resilience will be a proactive navigation wellness center for our patients, families, friends, and the community at-large.
Dr. Constant-Peter is a respected leader in the healthcare community and has been recognized with a number of awards, including the Frank C. Snope Excellence Award, reserved for delivering compassionate and comprehensive care. She has received recognition and certification throughout her career for excellent patient care at Queens Long Island Medical Group, Brookhaven Medical Group, Advent Health, Veterans Affairs, and, more recently, Orange County Corrections Health Services.
Dr. Constant-Peter is dedicated to her patients and to her mission of providing high-quality early intervention, prevention, and care for all those in need in her community. She envisions a community where all people with trauma, substance use disorder, and mental illness will be empowered to reach the mental wellness they deserve. Her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others is an inspiration to all who know her.
